The Isle of Armor is a massive expansion pack for Pokémon Sword and Shield. It is packed to the brim with new Pokémons, NPC characters, locations, side quests and much more content. Today we are going to take a look at one of these side quests which requires you to catch 150 Digletts!
The Alolan Diglett Quest
The Battle Dojo is a key spot on the Isle of Armor island. It is where your journey as a trainer will begin in the DLC. On your way from the station to the Dojo for the first time, you will have to cross a bridge. Right on the entrance of the bridge you will encounter an Alolan Diglett hindering your path.
As you cause it to emerge out from underground, a friendly trainer will approach you. The trainer tells you that the Alolan Diglett you just unearthed is one of the many he owns. Apparently, he has lost all of them on the small island and he will request you to find them and bring them back.
This is the first side quest you’ll run into, however it’s very lengthy and time consuming. You will have to find 150 Digletts scattered throughout the entire island in various biomes.
Alolan Diglett
A traditional Diglett hides itself completely under the ground surface to stay safe from its enemies. That makes it very difficult to come across one. However it is fairly simple to find an Alolan Diglett.
Alolan Diglett is a Ground/Steel type Pokémon. It has three hair like structure on its head which makes it unique from a regular Diglett. These hair stick out above the ground using which it can sense it’s surroundings without having to pop out. Though, it does come out eventually sometimes.
Thus, in order to complete the quest you simply have to lookout for three weird looking hair sticking out of the ground. That being said, this information alone does not make the quest simple. You have an entire island to search for this small creatures.

It will be a tedious task to go around the entire Isle of Armor searching for these small Pokémons. Therefore, to help you with the burden, we have gathered a list of all the locations you will find the army of Digletts.
