Activision, the game publisher behind the most popular first-person shooter game series – Call Of Duty, has announced the new esport league that is going to take place in 2020. If you are supposed to be an esports fan, you might have guessed it right. It’s the new Call Of Duty esport league, and Activision has named it Call Of Duty League 2020.
Well, the new Call Of Duty League 2020 will take place under a franchise-based model, like the 2017’s Overwatch League. A total of 12 teams from 12 different franchises based in different cities of the United States and Europe will participate in the league. The 12 cities are – New York, Chicago, Florida, London, Paris, Atlanta, Dallas, Minnesota, Seattle, Toronto, and two in Los Angeles.

Talking more about the upcoming league. The teams will be playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with 5 vs 5 format. Also, the games will be played on the PlayStation 4 platform exclusively. Activision has announced a prize pool of $6 million with the Call of Duty League 2020.
