Halo Infinite is a big hit among the players, and it surely has delivered as per the expectations. But the game is not all about killing and gunning around. You need to have your character in the game properly customized to give a proper feel!
Now, a lot of us do not know how to do it. But for your information, you can customize your Spartan as well as the armor in the game, Halo Infinite.
Here are the detailed steps using which you can change your armor, the color of it, the visors, etc. –
- On the main game screen, go over to the top section and then click on Customize. It is present just beside the Play button.
- Once you have done that, you will have some options to choose from. Go over and choose Armor Hall. This is where you get to customize your armor and the extra gears that come with it.
- Once you choose the armor hall, you will find all your unlocked armor in there. Choose the one you want to customize.
- When you have chosen the armor you want to customize, you will get quite a lot of options to choose from. The first one will be the armor set, i.e. the skin of the armor.
Here is a notice. The armor sets are the sets of skins of the competitive Halo players and their clans. And the best part is that you will get a free armor set as well! For this, you just have to go to the Shop option on the top and then select the HCS offers at the bottom left, just above the Buy Credits option.
Then you have to hover to the HCS Launch Giveaway option and you will find the free armor set there! So just go and grab it before it is gone! Now here are the remaining steps to customize your armor –
- Now the next option will be the color plate, i.e. the color of the basic plates of the armor. You will have a lot of them. Some of them will be free, some will be available in the store and some will be available in the battle pass. Select the one you like and then equip it.
- The next part will be the helmets. There will be certain helmets available, but you have to have them unlocked to equip them. If you have some, select the one you want and then equip it.
- In the next option, you can change the color of the visor of your helmet. And as mentioned earlier, you will have certain free ones and some of them need to be unlocked. So if you like something, go over, select it and then equip it.
- The next option will let you change your chest plate. Sadly, you won’t have any free chest plates in the game. You have to get the chest plates by leveling up your battle pass. If you already have, just go and equip one.
- Then you will have the shoulders, the fingers, the utility (your belt and leggings), the knees, and a lot more. You also have the option to add an emblem to your armor. There are two options – one, to add an emblem and the other to change the color of it. You can choose the ones you like and apply them!
- You have some pretty cool armor effects to choose from as well. But you have to unlock them to use them on your armor. You also have certain mythic effects to choose from as well!
There are certain things you need to keep in mind. The first thing is that if you customize one of your armors, it will be applied to that specific armor and not the others. The next thing is that you might not have each item of one armor available for another one.
For example, if you have 10 different chest plate colors for your Mark V armor, you might not have all ten of them for your Mark VII armor as well. So the varieties differ based on the armors. The next thing to keep in mind is that if you unlock one customizable item, it does not apply to all the armors you have.
For example, if you have unlocked a specific emblem for your Mark V armor, it will be unlocked for that specific armor only, not the other ones you have. So if you equip an armor, you have to unlock the customizable items for it individually. Other than these, you can customize your Spartan as well.
You can change its size, mass, arms, shoulders, thighs, and all this stuff. You can change your AI model and its color as well. You also have the options to customize your service tag, voice, nameplate, the palette of the emblem, and the stance of your Spartan as well.
