Method: 1 (Boot into Custom Recovery Mode)
This is the easiest and pretty straight forward method to boot into recovery mode. Just follow the steps given below:
- Step1: Turn off (switch off) your smartphone.
- Step 2: Now hold simultaneously the “Power” button and “Volume down” button for a few seconds (usually 10 seconds for most phones). If nothing happens on your phone then you need to hold the “Power” button and “Volume Up” button for a few seconds.
- Step 3: That’s all, once you see anything displaying our the screen leave the button you are holding. In a normal recovery mode, you should see some options on the display containing the “recovery” option.
- Step 4: Now select the “Recovery” option and your phone will boot into the custom Recovery which you have installed on your device.
Method: 2 (Boot into Custom Recovery Mode )
The second method is the simplest but it requires the ROOT access to boot into recovery mode. If your smartphone is not rooted you can use the other method listed. If your smartphone is rooted then follow the steps below:
- Step 1: Download the “Quick Boot” app from the Play store. You can also download it directly from the link given below.
- Step 2: Once you download and install the above app just open it and grant the root access or permission.
- Step 3: Now, just select the option “Reboot into Recovery option” and you are good to go (boot into custom recovery directly).
Method : 3 (Boot into Custom Recovery Mode)
Here is a little bit complicate method which will need you to have either PC/Laptop. So before proceeding you need to make sure you have proper working USB Cable and plug your phone to PC/Laptop using the USB Cable. Now enable USB Debugging, To Do So
In this method, you will require your laptop or PC and a USB cable to connect your smartphone to the system. Once you have connected your smartphone to your PC, you have to enable developer option on your phone. To enable developer options, follow the steps below;
- Step 1: Go to the Settings of your phone -> About -> Software Information -> More -> Now Tap on the Build Number 7-8 Times until you see a pop-up message “Developer option enabled“
- Step 2: Now, Go back to Settings -> Developer Option and Enable USB Debugging.
- Step 3: Once you have enabled the USB Debugging, Now Install the ADB and Fastboot on your Windows PC or Mac Computer. Now type “ADB reboot recovery” – command to reboot your phone to the bootloader. Press Enter and your smartphone will start rebooting to custom recovery.
