Among us, the team-based game where you are part of a crew ship and tasked with keeping the ship running or killing each and every crew member, gained massive popularity among teenagers during the heavy lockdown restrictions in many countries, the game has been released on PC, Android, IOS and Nintendo Switch but not on any Consoles as of yet, many are wondering when Among Us is set to release for PS4 and PS5?
Those who have been tasked with killing crewmembers are called “Impostors” and it is the other crew members job to figure out who it is, meetings are called at random by players or when a player is found dead to discuss who was where and when in hope to catch the impostor.
The game is free-to-play on all mobile devices but paid on PC and Nintendo Switch, you can play with 4-15 players.
The game ends with either the impostor being voted off the crew ship or the impostor killing everyone on the ship.
Among Us Release date for PS4/PS5?
Among Us was first released on June 15, 2018, for mobile devices, then for PC on November 16, 2018, and for Nintendo Switch on December 15, 2020, but still hasn’t been released for Consoles and many fans have wondered when especially after Sony’s official tweet stating that the game will be coming in 2021 for the PS4 and PS5.
Other than the fact that it’s coming sometime in 2021 there was no other information provided by the Among Us team or Sony, however a community known leaker for PS4 on Twitter, PlayStation Game SIze made a tweet stating that the game will be released on August 31, 2021, that is the end of this month.

It should be mentioned that this is not official confirmation that the game will be released on August 31, 2021, and is subject to change, we will have to wait for the official confirmation from Sony or Innersloth, the developers of the game.
