Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, published by Astragon Entertainment and developed by Aesir Interactive, is a simulation game in which you get to the play of a police officer. That’s right! It’s time to carry the badge and be the cop, for the city’s welfare.
As the player, you get to select from one of several preset of cops as you get the objective of selecting your shift. For starters, you would be having a limited amount of options. The cop in you heads towards a district as you start your shift. Each shift lasts a regular workday, which ticks away while you go about your daily activities. You’re severely constrained initially, and you’ll have to wander about hunting for traffic offences on foot. This isn’t the game for you if you don’t care about the details.
The life of a police officer is exhaustive as it gets often challenging for law enforcers. In the Simulator game, a specific job for each shift will earn you additional points throughout the day. Your aim is to increase these points as much as possible while avoiding mistakes that reduce another pool of points. For example, writing parking fines will earn us extra points on the first shift. You can use these to issue tickets for expired licences, expired parking metres (which is technically a different profession), parking in no-parking zones, and obstructing fire hydrants.
