Among Us has practically become the most popular free multiplayer game in the industry right now, and a big factor behind its success is the way that the developers, InnerSloth, continue to update the game with brand new content and features: in this article, we will be taking a look at the new update to the game that will include a brand new achievements system, and when it could be coming out. Right, let’s get straight into it.
In the Roadmap for Among Us that was released by InnerSloth, a bunch of new features and content was confirmed to be coming to the game, including the long-awaited hide n’ seek mode, as well as a brand new map 5, which we have covered in separate articles. Another addition revealed was the achievements system. In the roadmap video, the achievement featured was “Get 5 kills”. Seeing as there are a plethora of things to do in this game, achievements will definitely provide some more incentive to go out and explore every part of the game.
Since Among Us is now confirmed to be available soon on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PlayStation 5, it remains to be seen whether or not these achievements will actually tie in to the trophy system on PlayStation and the Achievement system on Xbox. Being someone who values every one of his over thousand trophies on PlayStation, I can see how this would encourage a community of players often called trophy hunters into buying the game, especially if a Platinum trophy is up for grabs.
We hope you are as excited as us to attempt to get as many achievements as you possibly can in Among Us, presumably coming to the game as part of an update that will release in the next few months.
