Minecraft is one of the most popular sandbox games in the world. It was released in 2011 for many platforms. The pocket edition of Minecraft was replaced with the Bedrock Edition in 2017. In this article, we are going to talk about an unusual privacy error seen in Minecraft Bedrock Edition after updating it o Version 1.17. So, here is everything you need to know about it.

Privacy Error: How to fix it?

The privacy error we are talking about is seen after updating your Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Similar kinds of issues were seen in version 1.16 also. But the ways to fix this issue are going to be different in version 1.17. When this error occurs, players are not able to play on several servers. Here are some steps that you must follow to fix this error.

  • Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
  • Go to your settings and head to your profile.
  • Select the option “Privacy & online safety”.
  • When a new window opens, select each option to ‘everyone’ and ‘allow’.
  • When you have allowed every option on the list, make sure to refresh the webpage.
  • After this, sign in to your Xbox Companion Account from your system after closing Minecraft App. (Only for those who are facing this error on PC)
  • Congratulations! Your issue has been resolved.

After following these steps, you may have to log in to your Microsoft account again. But, after this, you will be able to play on all servers of Minecraft.
