ARK Mobile is already exciting on its own, but with the tricks we provide you in this article including lag fixes, optimal settings, running multiple accounts, and more, it can be even better. Read on to find out everything you need to know!
Lag fix:
In order to get your game to run smoother, navigate to the in-game settings. Here, ensure the Resolution slider bar is at least lower than the midpoint. Also, consider lowering the graphics setting in case it was at medium or above. Keep in mind that lowering your resolution does worsen your experience quite significantly. You will need to find the perfect balance between running the game smoothly and not having it look like a game from 2005.
Optimal settings:
In case you were wondering how to enable the recording button, it is possible to do only if you are running the game on high or epic graphics. Also, running the game on preserve battery mode locks your graphics to low. Under the Controls tab of your settings, you may want to switch off Long press to Dismount. This is to ensure that you do not mistakenly dismount due to a long press. Trust me, it happens way too easily. From the same page, change the Hot Bar layout to On Screen. This gives you all your items just a tap away. Also, change your Left Multi-tap setting to Reload/Alt attack 2.
Backup and restore your data:
On the main menu screen, click on play ARK. Navigate to Manage Saved data. Here, you will find several local backups as well as a cloud backup. While they can be used for their original purpose, check out my article on how they can be used to run multiple worlds at once without any hassle.
Well, that was what we had for you as you get started with this amazing game. Let’s hope we were able to make your experience a tiny bit better.
