By far, in the history of internet browsing applications, no app has received so much popularity than our most familiar web app – Google Chrome. Its huge demand among the customers was the primary reason for it becoming the application that is already pre-installed in most of the devices around us.
But on some occasions, we do encounter instances where access to a particular website is denied in spite of our repeated trials. These may those websites that are deemed as spam by Google itself, or perhaps purposefully restricted by the host server from which you are trying to gain access (like office or school). Whichever so be the reason behind, there are few ways to access the website of your choice given down below:
1) Download a VPN:
This method is highly effective if you are using a school or work device to access a site that is actually restricted by that host server. Google usually blocks a website based on government or authorities’ restrictions. In this case, VPN can be used to create a hoax location for the device that you are using which will be shown to google as your actual location and it will not deny access.
2) Change the settings from the host device:
Like the previous method, this method might not seem fruitful if you do not have access to the host device of your school or office. But if you are lucky enough to have a direct passage to the host device, you can surely try the method given below:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More, then Settings.
- Under “Privacy and security,” click Site settings.
- Select the permission you want to update.
To change permissions and data storage on all sites you’ve visited, you can also select View permissions and data stored across sites
