ESPN app on Fire TV Stick

Fire TV Stick has been able to bring a big change in the way of how we watch TV. The biggest change is that it can change your normal TV into a Smart TV. Definitely, Amazon deserves a lot of credit and appreciation for developing something like this that can not just entertain us throughout the day but it is also available at an affordable price. Recently, the same device was also launched for 4K TV’s under the name of ‘Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K’. The device has a large number of features and you will get all your favorite streaming services, TV shows, movies and web series under one platform.

Talking about streaming services, I have to mention about ESPN+ or the ESPN app. It is a part of ESPN network that has been operating some channels for those who love sports. The app can provide you access to the content of ESPN.com and has a wide collection of coverage from the best reporters and you can also get easy access to particular sports coverage, events, shows and other bonus content. And yes, the app is also supported on Fire TV Stick so that you can enjoy the best sports content in the big screen at the comfort of your home.

But ESPN app has been facing severe problems while running on Fire TV Stick. One of them is the login problem. Users have been experiencing a lot of issues when they try to lo in to ESPN app on Fire TV Stick. People have addressed a lot of complaints related to login issues. A user said that he tried to log in with YTTV credentials but the process failed. He opened the option of ‘Choose Provider’ and selected ‘More Providers’. He selected YouTube TV after which the page was trying to get to the Google sign in page but he was kicked back to the ‘Choose Provider’ page. Another user said that he had to experience an endless loop of picture verification. The process kept on reloading verification pictures and every time it said ‘Try Again’.

Till now, ESPN has not mentioned anything about these errors and neither the network has suggested a permanent solution to solve these problems. Well, if you are going through the same, you can follow these steps to fix the problem by yourself –

  1. Check your login credentials and see if you have entered the details correctly.
  2. Make sure that you have signed up for ESPN app before login.
  3. Uninstall the app and install it again.
  4. Clear the cache and all other data of the app and relaunch it and check if the issue has been solved.
