The minor patch fixes, among other things, a bug that caused vehicles traveling on low gravity moons to explode. This bug would have compromised Star Citizen Daymar Rally, an endurance race that will take place this Saturday.
In a Spectrum announcement, Cloud Imperium announces the release of an intermediate patch 3.12.0b for Star Citizen.
This patch brings the following fixes:
- Bounty Hunter missions, which were inaccessible to some players since the last patch, should be available to everyone again. If this is not the case, you will have to do a character reset .
- Bounty Hunters should no longer take inappropriate Crimestats.
- The Quantum Travel Head-Up Indicator (Quantum HUD) should no longer be displayed inappropriately while the Quantum Engine is cooling.
- Ships should no longer disappear unexpectedly after the player exits them.
- Mission announcements “mission (title)” should no longer appear.
- Ground vehicles should no longer take nuisance damage while moving on low gravity moons.
As CIG points out in the week’s program , this last bug would have been more than annoying for the 2021 edition of the Daymar rally which will take place this weekend.
