Evil Geniuses may be the surprise of the LCS in 2021. The structure has unveiled its full roster for the coming season, nearly a month and a half after the departure of three of its players. New on the North American League of Legends scene this week: Evil Geniuses finally unveils its roster for 2021.
Who says new season, says new ambitions, and if the structure only finished fifth in the LCS Summer Split this year, otherwise failing to qualify for the Worlds, the departure of three of its players last November marked a change of tone.
If we already knew that Dennis ‘Svenskeren’ Johnsen, jungler for a year for Evil Geniuses, and Daniele ‘Jiizuke‘ di Mauro – the mid laner of the roster – would stay, the positions of top laner, ADC and support remained to be provided. It is now done, since EG presented its new players on Tuesday.
Born of ? and forged for battle, our #LCS lineup is ready to dominate 2021!

ADC: @deftlylol

Svenskeren and Jiizuke are joined by Eon-Yeong ‘Impact‘ Jung as top laner, Matthew ‘Deftly‘ Chen as new ADC and Dong-geun ‘IgNar‘ Lee as support.
A bet that could prove to be a winner, because the teams from which Impact and IgNar come seemed to have found the right dynamic. Indeed, Team Liquid and FlyQuest both qualified for the Worlds in 2020, before falling in the group stage, one game close to qualifying for the playoffs.
In addition, if the experience is a good thing, we will also note the desire to bring new blood to this roster, with the youngest but nevertheless talented ADC Deftly, who showed very encouraging results in the academic league under the colours EG with in particular a beautiful 2nd place in the spring split 2020 of the LCS Academy.
An experienced roster but quite surprising in short, which promises great things for the 2021 season of Evil Geniuses in the LCS.
