The scarcity of GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards continues to be an issue of heated debate. Clearly, the gaming enthusiasts haven’t been served in the finest ways as they would have expected. OEMs have struggled to deploy these GPU units in desired quantities. For the same reason, NVIDIA postponed the launch of GeForce RTX 3070 cards to 29th October, to avoid familiar circumstances. Many authorized online retailers were questioned for selling RTX 30 series cards at unreasonable prices. Well, it is a cycle that goes on. According to latest reports, Overclockers UK have suggested that ASUS RTX OC cards are preferably being manufactured more in number compared to non-OC ones.

The major Ampere GPUs offered from ASUS are broadly divided in two categories. One is the ROG Strix series while TUF Gaming is the other. The Strix series has an OC variant for all RTX 30s, that is RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. Whereas the TUF Gaming misses out on an overclocked card for RTX 3070. ASUS were earlier questioned about whether or not the two kinds of cards were being manufactured in equal quantities. The company back then said it did not have any such preference.
However, Overclockers UK in a recent post cleared the air and said that ASUS was indeed manufacturing AUS RTX 30 OC cards more in number. It promised to up its supply for the non-OC variants once NVIDIA starts supplying ASUS with more GPUs. The release of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 cards is in two days’ time.
