One of the most awaited releases from Activision is now out for open beta, Yes, I am talking about the Black Ops Cold war beta. Although the pre Alpha was released for a weekend last month exclusively for Playstation 4 users which caused quite a ruckus because of its bugs and errors which were catastrophic, the official beta’s schedule has been laid down and is as follows:-
Thursday, October 8(For Pre-orders on Playstation 4)
Level Cap-Rank 16 would be allowed on the first day of the beta schedule. The following maps will be dropping on the first day:-
- Miami
- Sattelite
- Crossroads
- Moscow
- Armada
- Cartel
The modes available on the first day will be as follows:-
- Team DeathMatch
- Kill Confirmed
- Domination
- Combined Arms Domination
Friday, October 9( For Pre-orders on Playstation 4)
Level Cap-Rank 25 would be allowed on the second day of the beta schedule. The maps will remain the same as of the first day. A new mode will available on this day known as the VIP Escort mode.
Saturday -Monday,10-12 October( For All PlayStation 4 Players)
Everything remaining the same, a new mode will be available during this period which is known as the Combined Arms Assault mode. After this, the game will be available for everyone on the Playstation 4 platform.
Due to the collaboration of Sony and Activision Black Ops Cold war has been available on this platform first. Later in this month, it will be available on other platforms like Xbox and PC.
After the disappointment shown over the open alpha, the community has shown some hope towards the open beta and they hope Activision and Treyarch would make a good reputation out of this. The engine of this new game is up for a challenge as it is not the same as of Modern Warfare and Warzone.
