Last month during late June, the Update 0.12.6.2 for Escape From Tarkov went live. The patch was released on 29th June and not only did it contain a number of bug fixes, but it also added new quests for players to explore.
However, players have encountered a bug which is plaguing the flea market in the game. The developers at Battlestate discussed this issue on their official Discord server yesterday. It turns out there was an issue with the traders. More specifically, their buying prices. The same was later posted on the official Escape From Tarkov sub-reddit.
To sum up what the Battlestate team stated on Discord :
- Traders buying price was decreased (it was a bug related to incorrect price calculation which lead to many related bugs)
- Mostly therapist sell prices were lowered
- Again – there were serious bugs in sell prices calculation. Base prices can and will be corrected especially with the dynamic prices later.
It looks likd with the recent update, lots of items have been updated with different vendor prices. It would seem that Battlestate Games has implemented some changes to the trading system of the game. Following is a list of all the changes that were noticed in the flea market :
- Bitcoins sell to Ragman for 106k.
- Food sellls to Jaegar double what Therapist buys it for.
- Food sellls to Jaegar double what Therapist buys it for.
- Jaegar buys guns for more than Mechanic.
- Fence buys things for similar prices to Jaegar.
- Armor goes for more to ragman than skiier now.
There’s a lot more to be found but looks like Therapist got nerfed completely into the ground and Jaegar and Fence got buffed.
The shakeup will changes lots of things, but ultimately we think it will be for the better as things like Fuel Conditioner that you can gamma/beta have been nerfed.
