According to the raw scans, it seems that Heart Mages trying to help/heal the people finally. DDD seems to be using eyeballs then like his finger like a gun to shoot or aim it.
Leo finally has a new spell which he used to burn the whole forest and the SG who got defeated was frogga so the next chapter is probably Charmy avenging her teacher too.

From the spoilers, it looks like the chapter 249 will be purely focused on Leo. It would be interesting to see him showing more techniques he has developed over the time skip.
