Star Wars: The Old Republic is currently down for scheduled server maintenance. According to the official statement by the SWTOR Twitter handle, the game servers will be unavailable for 4 hours.

The game servers are still unavailable. The official Twitter handle posted and mentioned that the server maintenance has been extended.
