When someone talks about a horror video game series that would create tremble among players, only one name comes in mind, and that is Resident Evil. My favorite is Resident Evil Revelations, and it was pretty horrifying for me. The whole series has been made in the same way with different storylines. Capcom is behind the success of the series. They began series with Resident Evil in 1996, and at present, they have made more than twenty successful titles.
The last title from the main game series was Resident Evil 7. It was released back in 2017, and since then, we’ve got Resident Evil 2 remake in 2019. The remake of Resident Evil 3 is scheduled for this year. Fans are excited about it, but they are much-aroused for Resident Evil 8. They have been asking when the new title in the main series will be released.
As of now, we don’t have anything confirmed about Resident Evil 8, but here is everything we know about the game’s release date and gameplay.
Resident Evil 8 Story And Gameplay Details
Various rumors have reported that Resident Evil 8 will see the return of Resident Evil 7’s Ethan Winters, and series veteran Chris Redfield as main characters. Reports didn’t reveal the storyline, but it looks like the series will be a continuation of Ethan’s story from Resident Evil 7.
According to an anonymous leaker, the game was just tested in 2019, and it won’t be called Resident Evil 8, but something else. The game will adapt the first-person perspective like RE7.
More leaks revealed that the game will set in a village covered by snowy, and mountains and will progress to a location with a castle. Additionally, new enemies will be in the form of werewolf-like creatures and zombies. The primary antagonist of the series will be a ghost-like female entity that will follow the player. However, it will vanish once shot.
