Twitter is testing a new feature, Twitter stories, which will disappear after fixed time just like Whatsapp and Instagram stories. However, netizens are not happy with this feature and they are trending a hashtag – #Riptwitter.
Twitter users anguish regarding this new feature can be justified as this microblogging platform is complete in itself, and the addition of Twitter doesn’t make much sense for the platform. Have a look at tweets from users who are not liking this new move from Twitter.
Cant believe the only good social media app i liked is becoming like the rest. I hate it here

#RIPTwitter is trending because they decided to add stories, but I'll just never use that feature, much like I don't use some of the apps other features, like "reacting to a direct message" or "reading other people's tweets"

Who asked for stories? Nah I wanna speak to management because this is not right. What set twitter different from the other social media apps is the fact that it’s storyless. All we’ve ever asked for is an edit button. Don’t ruin this app #RIPTwitter pic.twitter.com/be9x66FEyb

Well, some fans also complained that the Twitter team should have added edit feature for Tweet instead of adding unnecessary story feature. Well, it will interesting to see, how the Twitter community use this new tool when it will be rolled out for everyone.
