EA FC 26 beta not working for many players: How to fix it

EA FC 26 beta not working for many players: How to fix it

EA had earlier announced that it would be running a closed beta version for FC 26 from Aug 6 to Aug 26, 2025. As of now, it is available on all platforms except Nintendo. Switch users will be able to access the game from Aug 8. The access codes for FC 26 beta were sent via email to the EA accounts of specific users. Access to this version will currently be limited to the US and the UK. Along with that, the users must have an active subscription to Xbox Live Gold, PlayStation Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online. The codes will only work for the intended user; hence, they cannot be swapped.

We cannot provide a first-person perspective of the game as any content regarding the gameplay is not available. It is against EA’s policy to stream or record any of the beta content. However, judging from the discussions on various online forums, it seems to be up to the mark. That aside, the grand launch of the FC 26 beta was not free from glitches. Two notable issues caught the attention of users. One was the glitch that allowed early access to all the game modes. The second was improper distribution of access codes and people being logged out of the game.

The early access glitch occurred while reconnecting to the game after closing it. The exact steps of how it worked are listed below:

  • After opening the beta, return to the home menu of your system.
  • Find your network settings and switch off the internet.
  • Wait for a while and turn it back on. Open the game again to find all modes unlocked.

However, it is bound to be found out sooner or later, as the developers do not intend to give access to all modes for now.

The second glitch is players getting logged out of the game. This might be happening due to a server, as the intended time of access was from Aug 6. However, some people got early access, but later, the server was taken down. There is no doubt that it was a fault at the server’s end, and users will be able to access the game only after the correct time, i.e., 6 p.m. UTC. Apart from this, a few Nintendo users received the code for Xbox and vice versa. This has been noted by the developers, who will provide a separate code for access to the affected users.

That will be all for now from our side. In case there is any update on the situation, Digistatement will cover it. So keep following and stay tuned for more news.
