To get this in Grounded 2, you’ll need to acquire the sizzling key after defeating the final boss in the Networking mission. This pretty much means the end of the story for the current early access version. Also, you need to have the Omni-Shovel II to get the chest, as it’s a level 2 buried treasure. How to get spicy globs in Grounded 2?
- Start by going to the southwest corner of Pine Hill and directly west of the corner of the Picnic Table.
- You’ll need an ant Buggy as it has the ability to chomp through obstacles. Now, climb up the tree roots and chomp through the barricade to reach the upper level of the hill at the base of the large trees.
- Follow along the tree root right till the end in the north direction. You should see some spider eggs and three red mushrooms near some rocks.
- Climb up the rocks and you’ll see some pop-caps. A small cove will be formed at the base of the tree where two roots converge.
- Head down into the cervice between the roots, and you’ll see a glowing patch amongst some pine needles. That is where you need to dig with your shovel to get the chest.
