NINJA GAIDEN Ragebound is a spin-off of the Ninja Gaiden series. It is a hack-and-slash 2D game developed by The Game Kitchen. The gameplay follows the story of Kenji, a ninja from the Hayabusa clan who must protect his village against the demons. His primary weapon is a katana that he uses for melee combat. Kenji is later able to use ranged attacks that we will discuss shortly. Most enemies can be defeated with a one-hit kill; other variants and bosses can take multiple attacks. Some highlighted enemies require certain techniques to be defeated. Also, there is a mention of the Guillotine boost move that allows him to strike and bounce off enemies and projectiles. The ability to perform ranged attacks comes after the encounter with Kumori, a kunoichi of the Black Spider clan.
After the demon lord betrays her, she fuses her soul with Kenji, ensuring the survival of both. Kenji gains kunai skills and the ability to teleport across short distances. He also becomes able to harvest ‘Ki’ from enemies, which allows him to summon powerful weapons. After fusing with Kumori, players can alternate between playing as Kumori and Kenji. This happens while entering alternate demon dimensions through interaction with demon altars. Overall, the story is engaging, and the gameplay is as interesting as it can be. This spin-off of the 2D style brings old elements with a new concept back to the players’ screens.
NINJA GAIDEN Ragebound save file location details
The save file location can be found in the following directory: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\LocalLow\The Game Kitchen\NINJA GAIDEN Ragebound\SteamUser_[64BitSteamID]. The last part of the directory, i.e., [64BitSteamID], must have the user ID in its place. So you can locate this directory while using the Windows OS, playing the game through Steam.
