We have built the game in a way that we think is approachable and easy to interface with new material (both for our convenience, and for modders), I’ll let you know that we use XML to define nearly all of the game content, so you can imagine how much freedom y’all will have once you’re able to get in there yourselves
Will it be available?
Since the devs already have mod support at the back of their heads for this game, we can be sure that mod support and eventually tons of different mods will be available for Millennia soon. And even if, by any chance, the devs decide to pull the plug on this idea and decide not to support mods at all, we know how resilient and dedicated the modding community can be.
