Arrowhead Game Studios’ upcoming title Helldivers 2 just got a final preview by IGN a few days ago and it happened to be mostly positive. This has done nothing but solidify fans’ trust in the game, and that February 8, 2024, release is certainly exciting. So far, the game has been confirmed for a PC and PS5 release, but what many players also want to know is if they will be able to enjoy the game on PC handhelds like the Asus Rog Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go. For those out of the loop, Helldivers 2 is a third-person squad-based shooter where you will be taking on everything that moves to kill and, in the process, save your planet and your rights. Others are doing their part, and you will be too. Plus, so far from what the previews and trailers have shown, the game is certainly looking to be tons of fun. And while you can certainly play the game on consoles and PCs, many also want to enjoy it on the go. That’s exactly where devices like the Rog Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go come into play. Helldivers 2 Asus Rog Ally & Lenovo Legion Go Support: Is it available?
As of now, developer Arrowhead Game Studios hasn’t shared any information about whether Helldivers 2 will be supported on the Asus Rog Ally and the Lenovo Legion Go. And it’s unlikely that the developers will make an announcement related to this. However, this doesn’t mean that you will not be able to play the game on these two particular devices. In fact, we are pretty confident that players will have no trouble enjoying the game on both the Rog Ally and the Legion Go.
Arrowhead Games has already shared Helldivers 2’s PC specs and by the looks of it, the minimum requirements of the game are perfectly suitable for running on the Rog Ally and the Legion Go. Plus, unlike the Steam Deck, both of these previously mentioned devices use Windows OS and as a result, you wouldn’t face any compatibility issues at all. Now, we aren’t so sure if players will be able to run the game on higher graphics settings, like High or Ultra High. However, with a few tweaks and such, we are confident that you will be at least able to enjoy the game on Low and Medium settings with respectable frame rates.
