A new Forza Motorsport game is just around the corner, as it will finally see its official release on October 10, 2023, on both PC and Xbox Series X/S. Forza Motorsport is the reboot of the entire Motorsport sub-series, and this has resulted in a lot of players being excited to try it out. So much so that many have already gotten their hands on the game by purchasing the Premium Edition. Players are also allowed to upgrade to the Premium Add-Ons bundle with Game Pass, which will also give them 5-day early access to Forza Motorsport. Forza Motorsport Textures Not Loading Issue: Is there any fix yet
Try out the following workarounds for now and see which one is able to resolve your issue. Well, as of now, there is no official fix, but these workarounds are more than enough to get rid of it.
Restart –
Always start the fixing process for any kind of issue by performing a restart. You can do a restart of the game first and then see if it helps with getting rid of this issue. If it doesn’t work, perform a restart of both Steam and Windows/Xbox itself. If you still encounter this issue, it’s time to move on to a different workaround.
Update graphics drivers –
Maybe the reason the textures aren’t loading properly is because your graphics drivers are outdated. Updating it will quickly fix the issue. You can either get the latest drivers from the official Nvidia/AMD website or download them from the official companion app of your GPU.
Repair files –
Any game will start acting up if its files either go missing or get corrupted. The only way to fix it is by repairing game files. To do that, open Steam and then navigate to Library. Next, right-click on Forza Motorsport and then select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files. Don’t forget to restart the game after the process is complete.
Move the game to SSD –
This workaround is mainly for players who have installed the game on their HDD. The developers have explicitly mentioned SSD Required on the requirements page for Forza Motorsport, so having it installed on an HDD will certainly result in issues like this. To move the game to your SSD, just open Steam and right-click on the game. Select Properties > Installed Files > Move the install folder. Once you have moved the install folder to your SSD, launch the game and see if you notice any difference.
Tweak in-game Graphics Settings –
Since this issue is related to textures, we recommend tweaking the in-game graphics settings to check if they provide any significant results. You can set the Quality Preset to Low and then check whether the issue persists. If it does, switch to High.
Reinstall –
In case you still keep encountering this issue, we suggest you reinstall the game. Keep a local backup of your saves, if possible, and then delete or uninstall it. Put the game on a new download, and once the installation is complete, the issue shouldn’t persist.
