If you’re facing the EAC error code 30005 in the game, then luckily for you, we have compiled a list of possible fixes here. Try these fixes and see which one works out for you.

Verify game files

The first thing that you have to note is, the EAC error codes typically get triggered if your game files are missing or corrupted. You can fix this by verifying the game files.

  • Open Steam and go to Library.
  • From the list of installed games, locate and right-click on BattleBit Remastered.
  • Click on Properties from the context menu and select Local Files.
  • Select the “Verify integrity of game files” option and let Steam run the check.
  • Once the verification is complete, launch the game and check if you’re still getting the EAC error code 30005.

Repair Easy AntiCheat

If you’re facing the EAC error code 30005 in BattleBit Remastered, then you may need to reinstall EAC to troubleshoot this issue.

  • Launch Steam, and go to your Library.
  • From the list of installed games, locate and right-click on BattleBit Remastered.
  • Click on Manage from the drop-down menu, and then click on Browse Local Files.
  • Now, in the game’s installation directory, locate the EasyAntiCheat folder.
  • Once you find the folder, click on it to open it. Now, locate the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe file and click on it.
  • On this newly opened screen, select the Repair option. If the EAC service is encountering issues, repairing it will fix the problem.
  • However, if you don’t see the Repair option, simply click on Uninstall and then click Finish. Then, open the executable file once again and reinstall EAC.

Stop/start Easy AntiCheat services

  • Type Services in your Windows search box and open the first option.
  • Locate the Easy AntiCheat service and right-click on it.
  • If the service is running, then change the service status to “Stop”, click on Apply, and then click OK to save your changes. Then, launch the game and check if the issue persists.
  • Alternatively, if the service isn’t active, then first click on Startup type and from the drop-down menu, select the “Automatic” option. Then, under Service Status, click on Start, click on Apply, and then click on OK. Close the window and run the game to see if your issue is solved.

Delete the SYS file

You can also try erasing the EasyAntiCheat.sys file to fix this problem.

  • Open the File Explorer, and then go to This PC.
  • Open the following directory – Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > EasyAntiCheat.
  • Now, right-click on the EasyAntiCheat.sys file and click on the Delete option. You may need to confirm this action.
  • Then, launch BattleBit Remastered and see if the issue persists.

Update GPU drivers

  • Open the Quick Link Menu by pressing the Windows + X keys together.
  • Go to Device Manager and select Display Adapters.
  • Locate the dedicated GPU you’re using, and right-click on it.
  • Click on Update Driver and then select the “Automatically search for drivers” option.
  • Now, wait until the latest drivers are downloaded and installed. Then, launch the game to see if it’s working as it should.

Note: You can also try and update the GPU drivers from the official support software of your GPU manufacturer. Alternatively, you can download the latest drivers from the official website of the manufacturer.
