Developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, Sonic Frontiers was officially released back on November 8, 2022, for the PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X/S|One, Windows, and the Nintendo Switch. Sonic Frontiers Spin Dash: How to Unlock and Use on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, & Nintendo Switch
In Sonic Frontiers, to get or unlock the Spin Dash, you will need to get an S rank in the newly added Action Chain Challenges. And that’s all you need to do. Once you get the required rank, here’s how you can use it in the game:
On Nintendo Switch –
- On your Pro Controller or joysticks, hold the “A” button along with the “L” button to initiate Spin Dash.
- Next, release the “A” button to perform the Spin Dash.
- You can also do an Aerial Spin Dash by pressing the “L” button whenever Sonic is in mid-air.
On Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S –
- On your Xbox controller, hold the “B” button and the “LT” button to initiate the Spin Dash move.
- Now, let go of the “B” button to execute it.
- To perform an Aerial Spin Dash, you can press the “LT” button while Sonic is in mid-air.
On PS4/PS5 –
- Hold the “O” button on your PlayStation controller alongside the “L2” button to start Spin Dash.
- Next, release the “O” button to perform the Spin Dash move.
- For an Aerial Spin Dash, press the “L2” button while Sonic is in mid-air.
