The latest installment of the video game series, Diablo 4, has taken over the internet and has been receiving a ton of positive reviews from the gaming community since its release. Now, Diablo 4 has the feature of indicating the activity status of the player. This notifies fellow players and friends in-game if you are online in the game or not. And some players who are bugged with friend requests and invites have the option to make themselves appear offline. You can do so by altering the activity status option available in-game. The in-game controls are surely different for multiple gaming platforms like PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. But the method of changing the activity status to “Appear Offline” is the same for all. Follow the steps below to alter your activity status in Diablo 4:

  • After entering the game, you must proceed to click on the ‘Options’ button available in-game. This will open a side-screen with your character in it. This is your character screen.
  • Now, choose the option named ‘Profile”, which is available on the left side of your character. It is present under your name and title within the character screen. Upon choosing it, your character screen clears up the extra options and shows you the equipment in-game.
  • Take a closer look at the bottom of the character screen, and you will find a button named ‘Profile’ with the status indicated alongside it. Make sure to click on it.
  • A new window will pop up. This window will have your activity status as the only option. Proceed to click on the drop-down box and choose the “Appear Offline” option.

And this is how you can easily change your activity status in Diablo 4 to “Appear Offline” without any difficulties. These steps didn’t involve any sort of technicality and were simple.
