Log Horizon Season 3 Announced After 5 Years, Episode 1 Releasing In October

NHK on Wednesday announced that Log Horizon Season 3 titled “Log Horizon Fall of the Round Table ” is coming this fall season after a 5-year hiatus. The staff of season 2 is reuniting again to deliver the familiar” Log Hola World”.

Series follows an incident happened one day where thousands of players, adventures got trapped in the popular online game Elder Tail where a city named ` Akiba ” full of monsters and magic exists and lost order. A young man, Shiloe decides to form a guild “Log Horizon” with his immediate associates, Akatsuki and Nyantara . Furthermore, he calls on the unity of adventurers to use his own wisdom as a weapon, launches the self-governing body “Roundtable Conference”, and restores peace and stability to the city. But, a critical crisis will come to the roundtable, a symbol of adventurer unity …

Syouji Masuda is returning as supervisor of the story and Shinji Ishihara is also back to direct the series at Studio Deen. Toshizo Nemoto is also making a return to oversee the series script while Shoji Hata and Yashuharu Takanashi are also back as sound director and music composer.

Log Horizon Season 3 will premiere on NHK Educational in October.
