Hypesquad is one of the ‘E’ rated games every combat, adventure, and action fan/gamer should try out. In this article, we will discuss HypeSquad PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch Release Date and every other relevant detail about the game you should get acquainted with ahead of its full release, including updates from the developers, alpha test, game features, and backstory. Let’s tell you about the game before we jump on the platforms it will be released for. Hypesquad is an action and intense close-quarters combat game developed and published by Netmarble N2 and published by NetMarble, and you rightly guessed it, NetMarble N2 is a subsidiary of Netmarble. Having the developer and publishers from the same team has its perks, one of which is the coordinated efforts from both to make the game look and feel as great as possible.
Hypesquad offers players a fast-paced PvP combat where players are matched against each other in groups of twenty with three players per group. Whichever group remains standing at the end of it all is automatically declared the winner. The game is set in an ultra-modern urban environment with high-rise buildings, empty parking lots, and every city feature you can imagine. Developers recently concluded the Alpha test which gave fans a glimpse of what the game will look like. The alpha test version has survival mode– which can be played at any given time, and conquest mode which will be made available based on the regional server schedule. Having had a swell time with a PC alpha launch, fans are interested to know if Hypesquad will be made available for other platforms and consoles.
HypeSquad PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch Release Date
There is good news and not-so-bad news with regard to the game being made available for Playstation, Xbox, and Switch. Starting with the bad news, developers released a trailer earlier in June 2022 announcing the Alpha test of the game and making it clear it would be exclusive to Steam with no mention of expanding the test to other platforms and consoles. The multiplayer third-person shooting game will be released for PC via Steam from all indications. As to the good news, the official launch date for the game has not been announced yet, so there is a possibility Netmarble could expand the release platforms to include PS, Xbox, and Switch, perhaps after the launch day. Also, they have not publicly announced these platforms will be excluded, so there is some hope.
