By getting an Ocean Map
To find an Ocean Map, you have to go to a particular village and search for a Cartographer in that village. To recognize a Cartographer, you must look for a character with a golden eye patch on their left eye. Now you must be wondering that this could take a while. So, if you are not able to find a Cartographer, then you can also appoint an unemployed villager to be a Cartographer. To do that, make a Cartography table and put it next to him. This is how you can make them a Cartographer.
After finding a Cartographer, the next step is to get an ocean map from him. For that, click on the Cartographer and exchange some papers and Emeralds to level it up. After achieving level 2, you can exchange 13 Emeralds and a Compass to get one Ocean Explorer Map. After getting an Ocean Map, you can access it from the inventory and search for the small blue-colored icon. This blue icon is nothing but an Ocean Monument. So now, you can navigate to this place through a boat and will be able to find the Ocean Monument. Don’t forget to drink the Night Vision Potion to easily explore the underwater monument.
